Established in 2003 with locations in San Francisco, San Jose, and Munich, Germany – Club Sportiva is the first pre-paid exotic car club in the U.S. The club, which has an 8-to-1 member-to-car ratio, has 200 members and plans to cap its total membership at 300.

By partnering with several high-end luxury companies, the club provides members with unique service offerings. According to Club Sportiva manager Brad Johnson, members reserve their first-choice car over 90% of the time. Approximately 75% of Sportiva members own their own sports car.

Members must provide their own insurance, which Johnson says minimizes reckless driving. In 2004, the club opened a branch in Munich to allow members access to cars for driving vacations in Europe. The club offers members a distinctive club culture, with numerous club social events and programs.

Club Sportiva’s car inventory includes: Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole, Ferrari F355 Spider, Lamborghini Gallardo, Maserati Spyder, Lotus Elise, Lotus Esprit S4, and Porsche 911 Carrera.

Update: we found a couple positive reviews about Club Sportiva on yelp.com.
