Dublin, Ire.-based the Oyster Circle based recently added three new homes in Europe, bringing its total property count to 14 residences.

The club added a four bedroom chalet with ski-in/ski-out access in Les Trois Valleés in the French Alps and acquired a four-bedroom home in northern Italy on the southwest shore of Lake Garda. The house is close to enough to towns like Verona, Venice, and Milan for quick day trips. It also added a four-bedroom house in St. Tropez that wraps around a swimming pool. This south of France villa is near beaches and about a five minute walk from Place des Lices in the center of town.

The Oyster Circle, which has a membership cap of 400 members, also has properties in Portugal, South Africa, and Austria. Homes average $4.5 million and membership deposit prices will jump 10 percent beginning January 1 to $490,000.

While the largest destination clubs are based stateside, there are a growing number of options overseas as clubs expand their international presence. Solstice and Quintess, LRW have homes in Tuscany and Paris, while Ultimate Resort (newly merged with Private Escapes) has properties in London and Paris. Additionally Private Escapes and One Key both have residences in Italy. Distinctive Holidays Homes has one of the widest international reaches with properties in France, Italy, Fiji, and Australia and residences planned for New Zealand later this year.
