I was recommended Distinctive Holiday Homes by a friend of mine who works at the Fiji resort. The concept of a Destination Club had some appeal to my circumstances, but I had some reservations relating to the practical issues of usage and availability. I decided to take advantage of the offer to “try before you buy”, and booked a week at the Paris apartment. The apartment was truly remarkable, both in location and character, directly opposite Notre-Dame on Il Saint Louis. There was all the necessary household items to feel immediately at home, either to dine in, or access to a concierge “as required” for a recommendation on dining out. This also made doing all the little things associated with being in a foreign house, eg, using the TV, internet, household appliances, etc, easy. Overall, a wonderful experience. I returned home and signed joined the club.
