We decided to go to Breckenridge for a family reunion. Bill’s mother and sister’s family came all the way from Pennsylvania. His dad wasn’t well enough to make the trip, but Breckenridge gave Bill’s mom a much-needed break and time with her family in a beautiful setting.

We spent a lot of family time cooking s’mores around the fire, a couple rounds of golf at the Breckenridge Golf Club (incredible views there), and going to the fabulous Farmer’s Market. Some of us took a pontoon boat on Lake Dillon, and Bill fly-fished the Blue River. Our nephew and niece really liked the Alpine Slide and trampoline at the Peak 8 Fun Park. We also rafted the Arkansas, which was exciting. Our eight-year-old nephew said it was the best day ever!

After all the fun, we’d go to the Breckenridge Brewery for a casual atmosphere and good beer. We also used our very functional kitchen, which was nicely stocked. The accommodations were spacious and so nicely decorated, and Bill’s mom loved the luxurious master bedroom. And who wouldn’t love the hot tub on the deck with the gorgeous views. Your customer service people went out of their way to find us a crib instead of a Pack n’ Play, as our daughter sleeps better in them. Thank you so much!

High Country Club is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It allows us to bring family and friends to great locations, and to capture many fond memories. We can’t say enough about the Club properties, or the staff. We feel as if we’ve joined a very high-end club, but without the skyrocket prices. We’re looking forward to our next trip!
